project Q ( Developing a Research Plan )

Who: our target is 25 Indian people who works in Emirates Airline in Dubai, aged between 20 to 35 in planning, headquarter, cleaning, safety, structure, cabin and engine areas.

When: it will take place next week on Thursday.

Where: Emirates Airline in Dubai.

How: collecting information within a surveys.

1. Your research question.
Does the education level of Indian people age between 20to35 match their current working position in UAE?

2. A description of your group process for deciding on that research question.
We were in classroom thinking with the other group about more than one questions related to DWC. But, we saw that they are already discussing and researching questions related to DWC, so we decided to be different and unique from all the groups in class. We came up with education idea and our target will be for Indian people age between 20to35 that if their education level match their working position. We came up with this idea because it’s a fact which we see in our daily life. Hence, we had researched more than one examples of their working position like security, cleaner, driver and restaurant waiter. Finally, we came up with eight different questions for the survey and interview that we are doing so that we know more about them.

6. Knowing that your educational level doesn’t match your working position then why you are still completing?

3. An explanation of why your group finds that question interesting.

In the beginning, we choose these question to determine some significant point .Such as, is the education nowadays important to have a job, also, to see if the workers are satisfaction about their position.

 4. An explanation of why your group thinks anyone else will be interested in the question.

This is because, this situation is not for specific category, and honestly these days every single human is facing this problem as well. And it might be interesting to imagine am I going to work in position which does not match with my education.  

 5. An explanation of why your group thinks this group of people will allow you to study them.

Studying an Indian group is easier than any other nationality. There are a lot of Indian people which works in UAE as cleaners, security men or woman, restaurant waiters and beauty parlor. As well Indian people is kind of communicative people and like to share some personal life stories which no one will share or feel comfortable to share. Hence, these group of people are spread in any area of Dubai and if we tried to talk to one person in public area, others will come and gather so we can also study them.

Making Toast

We did today a great experiment, the sir ask each group to toast only 3 slices of bread in the toaster. In the beginning, we started our first slices of energy bread at setting 4 , this is because we wanted to make a guess if it's a good temperature to toast a bread and if it's too light then we should go higher likewise if it's burnt then we should go lower .At  first time we agreed that it was just right, however , in the second time we decided to put two in the toaster setting and unfortunately the slices did not really toasted at all .Finally, we putted 6 in the setting and it looked extremely burnt .My group and I decided that setting 4 did give as the best toast. We did summarize the experiment and we find out that not every type of bread will use the same setting due to the fact that some type of breads have seeds and the slices looks little bit brown, to be specific, some breads need lower setting to give you just right toast .Moreover, the sir allowed as to toast 3 slices of bread to give accurate result about which setting produce the best toast, also we can't afford to repeat it more than three times because it take resource as well as time.
